Hello,
i protect my app(1st app) with enigma protector 8 and it runs well.
Then i want to pack the 1st app into a second app. The second app runs well but it cannot launch the 1st app within.
When i choose NOT to compress files inside virtual box, the second app inside the 1st app works well.
When i choose to compress files inside virtual box, the second app inside the 1st app does not lauch.
I do not know if it is a bug. In version 7.40 demo i was able to execute previously packed files.
I would like to request a new feature: an option to choose which files to compress inside virtual box and which not.
I know it is a lot of effort, as i am a developer myself.

Most correct solution there would be fix of this problem.
Compression should not matter, it has to work.
If it is possible, can you send us non protected sample (with all necessary files) at [email protected], so can test it out?

sorry for the delay, I was trying to figure out a workaround.
I finally found wat was causing the conflict.
When the first app is bundled with some kind of CRT (C runtime), it works fine when protected first time.
But the second time you try to protect it into the second app, it does refuse to execute.
The solution to this is the following: bundle the CRT into the second virtual box (not the first).
The first one may not run, because the CRT is missing. But i am interested in the second (final) virtual boxed app.
So, the workaround this problem is to bundle the CRT into the second (or final) virtual box, not the first.
But if you could add a switch to compress files individually, that would also be great.
